I have been providing therapy since 2004 and have developed the philosophy that therapy guides us through complicated emotions, helps us make sense of our experiences, and empowers us to make healthy choices for ourselves. Issues such as adoption, attachment, trauma, and disruptive behaviors are often frustrating for families but can be overcome with therapeutic support.
Healing from childhood abuse can be a difficult and complex process. My goal is to provide a safe and validating place for children to make sense of their experiences and heal. I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings, including: residential care, schools, day treatment, and an outpatient office.
I work collaboratively with families to strengthen healthy relationships, heal from trauma and disruption, and implement strength-based parenting strategies. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than helping families build resilience, support one another, and heal.
